Privacy Policy

This policy explains how HouseBoard handles information for household task, shopping, calendar, and invitation features.

Information HouseBoard Stores

HouseBoard stores account names, email addresses, household membership, roles, tasks, templates, shopping items, calendar feed tokens, invitation records, and basic settings needed to run the service.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to provide household collaboration features, authenticate users, send account and invitation emails, protect login and signup forms, and provide optional API or calendar integrations.

Email And Invitations

HouseBoard sends verification, invitation, and test emails through the configured mail provider. Invitation emails include the recipient email address and a unique invite link.

Security And Access

Access is restricted by account login, email verification, household membership, and user roles. Calendar feeds and Homepage API access use secret tokens, which should be kept private and rotated if exposed.

Third Party Services

HouseBoard may use hosting, email delivery, Cloudflare Turnstile, and dashboard integrations such as Homepage. Those services process the information needed for their specific function.

Data Requests

Household managers can manage household users and content in the app. For access, correction, or deletion requests that cannot be handled in the app, contact the site owner.
